Exquisito álbum a duo del versátil guitarrista brasileño Antonio Carlos Ribeiro Barbosa Lima (São Paulo, SP, 1944) y la guitarrista clásica estadounidense Sharon Isbin (St. Louis Park, Minnesota, 1956).

"What a joy, what a thrill it was, to listen to the recording Carlos sent me from New York. Just I was so down, so bored, I suddenly find mysel singing and dancing, taken over by the pure joy of it. I can feel their very presence in this room... the presence of these great musicians... the presence of this real brujo of the guitar, Master Carlos barbosa Lima, and his more-than-partner (in this pas de deux), a true sorceress Sharon Isbin. Brujo and sorceress angel of good, living among us poor mortals, capable of changing the quality of life on this disturbed little planet.
Neve before have I heard such a clear, clean, perfect recording, which is at the same time so melodious, harmonious, so alive and rhythmic. it is so beautiful it gives me goose pimples.
Working with Carlos and Sharon n the arrangements for the two guitars has been very satisfying. The acoustic guitar is one of the most complete instruments. Imaginetwo in perfect harmony. It is like a chamber orchestra, where nothing is missing. A marvelous, rich combination of different timbres, surprising and exciting to the ear, a great joy to the heart. It's good for the soul.
That you have played my music so beautifully makes me very happy. I am also very happy for Nazareth and Pixinguinha, great Brazilian composers. We are so happy and thankful to have our music in your hands, the magic hands of two incomparable masters of the guitar: Carlos Barbosa Lima and Sharon Isbin. They do not make guitarists like you anymore. Enjoy.
